Does EL have any future investments in the pipeline? I feel like the park has slowed right down
It has since the park is now funding investments themselves rather than having EU funding for them (from what I understand)Does EL have any future investments in the pipeline? I feel like the park has slowed right down
I'd certainly imagine so, I can also imagine a few exchange deals with Vekoma where they'd take some of the older coasters with a new coaster coming in.I think they will end up selling off a lot of the tatty stuff soon. These rides aren't what brings in the crowds and still need to be manned and maintained which costs money.
They should focus on operating 9/10 of the better coasters and get rid of the rest.
Couldn't agree more, You can really see EL going down hill at a rapid pace if invest doesn't happen. I love the park... Well the back end of it, Would an on site hotel do well? There’s lots that Energylandia could, and should, sell off. Heide Park used to be the park that had two of everything. Now 15 years later, that’s Energylandia. Two rapids rides, two monorails, two splash battles, two (or possibly three) Vekoma Junior coasters, two Vekoma Boomerangs, two of those fire brigade flat ride things. There’s probably more that I’ve not thought of. The Energylandia boom is sadly well and truly over and they need to start selling their duplicates to raise funds to finish off Sweet Valley and retheme the weird kids area at the park entrance.
Energylandia is a fantastic park, one of my favourites in Europe actually, but it doesn’t need 19 coasters and the ridiculous amount of kids flat rides that it currently has, especially when certain areas of the park really need attention.
Honestly, I think an on site hotel would do very well at Energylandia however I'm anticipating that it'll be at a premium in cost due to Zator not having many hotels in the area. Most of the accommodation I could find was serviced apartments.Couldn't agree more, You can really see EL going down hill at a rapid pace if invest doesn't happen. I love the park...
