Crikey, glad I got to ride it then when I did! It’s back off to Saudi, been seen leaving the country already. Shame
Mellors seem to send most there high quality big rides out there. Is there operations out there more profitable for them than fantasy island? Does fantasy island even make much of a profit? It’s back off to Saudi, been seen leaving the country already. Shame

The Starflyer is leaving the park tomorrow (Sunday 10th October) and will be replaced by The Hangover for the remainder of the 2021 season.

Sounds like a good enough addition, I appreciate that at least Fantasy Island try with these sorts of things. Yeah they tend to add traveling rides but at least they give it a good go.New for 2022:- Wild River Rapids from Lightwater Valley.

And do we know if The Guardian and Harington Flint's are finally opening this year?

Bump!
Both The Guardian and the River Rapids have been confirmed to open on March 19th. There is no opening date for Harrington Flint's yet.
Speaking of The Guardian, the park released a teaser video:
Apparently it's going to feature VR, so if it is a Robo Arm it will be very intense!

VR on a Robo Arm isn't unheard of actually. KUKA manufacturer one that's fitted with VR headsets as standard. This one only has three seats, but I have seen ones with four (The Guardian's concept/park map art implies that it will have four seats).VR? On a Robo Arm?
It's almost as if they were worried that the capacity of a normal robo arm would be too high
I do agree though, capacity and throughput will be an issue. Even with four seats.
Wonder if The Guardian will have two separate arms?

I have no idea how this escaped me but I can't believe Fantasy Island are getting a trackless dark ride!
