Which is why it's actually decent.Ahhh Eastern Express... The only outlet left on park which isn't run by Merlin!
Have to disagree with you about 'Spoons there, old chap. Of course, it no doubt depends on the branch you visit, but in my experience they serve good quality food and a great range of unusual guest ales at very reasonable prices. And as far as venues go, the new purpose built one in Blackpool is fantastic. Hell, some of them are in old converted cinemas that were saved from demolition and restored.
.... but then, if your local 'Spoons is some grotthole in a city centre full of chavs and students, I can understand not liking them.
Which is why it's actually decent.
Huh. I'm not enough of a frequent visitor to remember what was there before tbh. But it all looked new and shiney, so assumptions were made...Two nit picks here...
2. The magnificent 'spoons in Blackpool (Velvet Coaster) wasn't purpose built,
it used to be an amusement arcade that featured in the TV series Blackpool.
It's quite a significant changeHuh. I'm not enough of a frequent visitor to remember what was there before tbh. But it all looked new and shiney, so assumptions were made...
If Towers did that, each burger would cost over £10 because price markups seeing as a fiveguys burger is already £6+ and that's without chips and a drink! Even more extortionate! What new franchises would you like to see at Alton Towers? How about replacing The Burger Kitchen with Five Guys? I would much prefer that with their coke flavour mixing machines.
