Considering the entire squad since before the Euros was carrying an entire XI of injured players, Scotland have been nowhere near their best but I'll take this result.

Funny that all game Ronaldo was booed like a pantomime villian everytime he got a touch of the ball and at the end threw his dummy out of the pram much like when Portugal lost to Morocco at the World Cup.
 
He is a little weird.

Be interesting to see if he would have retired from international football, if he'd have stayed in a European league. What I've seen in interviews he seems to have a massive chip on shoulder because for reasons everyone but him can see. Nobody takes notice of what he's doing in Saudi.

As for the new England manager. No suprise they have gone with the tuche. Look at what's around.

One day someone will explain to me what Eddie Howe is held in high regards.
 
Yeah, I thought that was a hard one to call actually. I would probably go with that the Bournemouth striker probably would have got on to the ball and been able to get a shot away, if forced to decide, but I don't think it was absolutely clear cut. Ben White can be pretty quick and he might just have been able to get back and put a bit of pressure on. One of those though, you win some and you lose some. Arsenal fans will say that it was a close call so there was no need for VAR to get involved as the PGMOL have been saying that they'll try not to get VAR involved unless it's an absolutely obvious error. Then they get involved on a debateable one. Ah well, not my clubs so I don't care 👍 :)
 
Another win for Liverpool tonight as we continue the great start under Arne Slot. 11 wins out of 12 now.

Big game on Sunday now against Arsenal, then a double header with Brighton twice.
 
Annoyingly (as a non Liverpool fan with affiliation to a rival :) ) Slot really has you firing. Look almost better than under Klopp last season, and that’s saying something.
Excellent appointment.

Another solid point on the board for Manchester United. It's not easy this European football, just look as Aston Villa...!

Kudos to Forest, Nuno is doing a great job. You’re very well organised, physically strong and Chris Wood is on fire!

Thought we were pretty decent first half, scored the best goal of the match, but made too many individual mistakes and went to pot second half. Oh well!

Could this be another season where the promoted 3 go straight back down. Cooper definitely looks like a "hire the bloke who lives nearby till we find someone better" appointment.
