As good a reason as any. :p

Anyway, serious question. Why has Ashley Cole been fined £200,000 for (rightfully) calling the FA a bunch of twats? It's the most truthful thing he's ever done in his life FFS. :p

It was a mistake tweeting what he did but he certainly has the right attitude. To be essentially called a liar by the same court that can convict someone on the basis of no reliable or valid evidence is one of the biggest hypocrisies imaginable. A court case occasioned by the imaginary hurt that might possibly have been done to someone if the bad thing had actually been said and heard, but which, actually, wasn't, as it transpired.

Right attitude ? Tweeting mindless abuse without having read the report which clinically dissects the inconsistincies in his version of events.

No reliable evidence ?

Terry has admitted using the words.

The court case was not occasioned by any imaginary hurt. It was occasioned by Terry using vile, racist language.

But carry on in your delusional world.

I would like you to explain how his admittance of using the words is an admission of guilt? The FA report, contrary to what many believe, does state that simply using the words is not enough to cause charges to be brought. Otherwise "vile, racist" Rio would have been brought up in front of the court for endorsing the view that Ashley Cole is a "choc ice" - the most blatant racist abuse in this entire saga.

The bottom line is that the FA had to be seen to act, and they did. Fairness or justice do not come into the matter.

Stoke. How I love Stoke. Those charming, upstanding members of society that support them. The beautiful football they play, the Barcelona of the Midlands.

Wait, that's all a lie.

At least they have a nice harvester next to their stadium.

Bitterness? From a Liverpool fan?

Oh the irony. ;)

I posted that before the game.

0-0 was always going to be the result, but again, the referee was terrible. Really, really terrible.

And now it's time for bitterness. Tony Pulis is a prize bell end who needs a good punch to his baseball cap wearing head of his. Prick!

As is Suarez

As does Suarez

Couldn't have described Suarez in one word better myself! :p

Anyway, enough of Suarez hating. Looking forward to the footballing lesson you'll get in 3 weeks time eh Blaze?

You're spot on there yes, how he didn't book Suarez is beyond belief. I've just seen it on MOTD2 and it was the most blatant dive you will ever see in your life. He just jumped to the floor when no-one touched him, embarrassing really. It's no surprise he rarely gets decisions going his way.

:)

Funny how the media brushes over him being stamped on by Huth and the endless fouls against him.

He dives, but can you blame him? Since he joined he's been one of the most fouled players in the league and gets nothing because of his reputation.

Pulis, the baseball cap wearing idiot, can knob-off. Sending his teams out to kick the opposition to bits then moaning when someone resorts to cheating to try and get a decision.

-_-

A heavy topic, but why is racism so heavy these days? Just when I thought football was clear of it about two years ago from the aftermath of the World Cup.

Because of the pathetic people like Anton Ferdinand who play the "race card" when given the opportunity. Of course, no one cares that Patrice Evra insulted Suarez's sister, or than Anton Ferdinand insulted Terry about his affair, but woe betide anyone whose even dares say the word "black".

Pathetic, in my opinion.

Words fail me so I'll leave it to the master.

I think what he was trying to say was it's wrong how Evra and Ferdinand have been painted as saints, innocent victims of unprovoked abuse, when it is not the case.

I don't think he's saying that "f***ing black c***" is an appropriate way to reply to someone binging up your sex life.

Pretty much. Racism gets treated different to other kinds of abuse nowadays, which in my opinion is unjust and pretty pathetic. :)

But (thank god) things like that aren't a part in modern England, it's not like ethnic minorities get heavily prejudiced (those EDL idiots aside) nowadays in the UK. Obviously I'm not saying racism is good, I'm saying that all kinds of hateful abuse should be classed as equally bad, regardless of what kind of hateful abuse it is. Just because the kind of hate is racist shouldn't differentiate how bad and offensive it gets viewed as by the wider society.

About. Time. This should of been done after his abysmal January signings, yes we are skint but Coyle had a eye for loans. Where was these 6 loanees he planned to take us back to the Premier League with? I was right, it will take 2-3 seasons to recover when our board cannot have the funds/guts to sack a fallen manager.

"On Saturday Coyle described the defeat at Millwall as the lowest point of his managerial career but insisted he had no intention of resigning. "

Surely being relegated or losing a FA Cup Semi-final 5-0 was worse? The ship has already sunk, Gartside get your teeth into a young decent manager who had the same ambition as Coyle but actually knew what to do and when to play the right players and not overspend. Simples.

Mick McCarthy could do a alright job, but please. No. Alec McLeish, I thought we wanted to score more than one goal to win a game? Keith Hill and Ole sounds interesting, but please do not bring back Sammy Lee. Gartside sacking him shows that he wants to move on. Early-Mid Noughties Bolton can stay at West Ham, but I cannot judge Sammy's skills as a development coach. And Roy Keane? Just look at his track record and lack of activity recent. I'd lavish 'Arry the Artful Tax Dodger in a ideal world... but we shall settle at 17th this season. Like any old Coventry, Bradford, Forest, Leeds fan will tell you, better luck next time.

Coyle was a nice bloke, always optimistic but lacked luck and most of his tactics seemed to be by chance. A shame really for a manager that had so much promise.

Stelios, Bolton could always have Alan Knill as manager!

Seriously, please take him. Please!!!
