Funny things you've overheard people say in queuelines

Does it though? I think it looks well themed and emersive, but an awesome coaster? I think it looks pretty average.

Well yeah considering its a family coaster....id say its pretty awesome. Compare it against all the other family coasters in the world and I think it probably holds up rather well. You can't compare it against a high thrill coaster. It's not what it is intended to be.

Yes I think it does. I think it falls into the same category as Wicker Man - stick it on a flat car park and it'll be ok but nothing special. But add to it theming, sounds, the terrain and suddenly it becomes a fantastic coaster experience.

I've watched a few POVs and the front seat ones don't do it justice but this video is filmed from a few seats back in the side car and I think it gives a better view of the overall experience. The trains have sound effects and lights which all add to the immersive experience.

I believe that would make it the most expensive coaster in the world, ahead of Expedition Everest!

With the removal of DC, the extensive scenery and the new ride hardware I'd say that would be about right.

Imagine what Big Thunder Mountain would cost if built today. I'd say this family coaster more than matches that one.

My whole family hates Rita because it's rough, so not every non-enthusiast likes it; the main one that my family loves more than I do is The Smiler!

well ye it is the best ride on park
In your opinion; I personally have it as my 6th favourite coaster on park! It's good, but I find it a bit too juddery and almost a bit too intense to enjoy as much as some of the park's others.

Have you not ridden nemesis? It's much more intense
I have ridden Nemesis, but for some reason, I find Nemesis far easier to enjoy! Maybe it's because The Smiler's g-forces are more constant without any breathing space, whereas Nemesis' g-force comes in bursts, if you get what I mean?

I did also hear, actually, that The Smiler has somewhat stronger G's than Nemesis; Nemesis tops out at 3.5G, whereas The Smiler apparently hits 4.8G!

The smiler is 4.5 but isn't as constant imo
It might be the inversions all in a row that make it feel intense to me; I also felt quite nauseous getting off Air Race at Drayton Manor, and that has a number of inversions all in a row as well.
