And what if the part doesn't fit?
You make it fit. Everyone's bodged something in their life
And what if the part doesn't fit?
uhhh annd? The Smiler is one big bodge
The VR just seems to add an extra (unnecessary) complexity to the rides operation & maintenance. If you want to add to the experience, try using high quality theming. There's all sorted of simple things that could be done to enhance the physical ride. Adding water effects/theming would go down well. What with the park being one water ride down, and the success of Sea World's "Manta"
Actually, wasn't that in the original plans for air? I'm sure I recall there being waterfalls, fountains, rocks, palm trees and the like. It's not like the ride was losing popularity before they bodged it up anyway!
Maybe they'll come to their senses at some point and reinstate the oasis theme in more detail. Heck a it's filled rock tunnel as in the original plans would make a hell of a difference!
*cough Manta cough*
If they can stick a big ass plane, firetruck and helicopter in the middle of The Swarm surely they can build a couple of fibre glass rocks and some plastic palm trees for Air
I'd be interested to know how much they saved by not doing it originally. Unless it was just a time thing, it still had lots of niggles when it opened. If they can stick a big ass plane, firetruck and helicopter in the middle of The Swarm surely they can build a couple of fibre glass rocks and some plastic palm trees for Air
