hollyinfo.de posted some new photos from the model. According to them, the coaster will open on the 12th april. The theming, including a snack restaurant and a photo point won't be finished until july, or even for the 2015 season.
I have to say, looking at that model and some of the concept images, taking into account the theme of Vampires, this looks very much like Plopsa's take on 'Van Helsing's Factory' at Movie Park!
The model/building style is remarkably similar and so far it looks great! Certainly continuing with Plopsa's run of 'sprucing up' and 'theming' Holiday!!
Now for the love of God... Please will they just give EGF a proper station and 'Plopsa-esque' makeover while they're at it. Then the ride would be truly perfect!!
Ooooh, now that's much better! It used to look really tired and worn out, so it's very refreshing to see the new theme, and from the looks of it it's made the area a lot nicer
I'm glad they've tarted up the log flume somewhat. The last time I was there it was a particularly depressing sight in what is already a pretty depressing park to be in!
Indeed, it was actually a really good flume, so this is all that is really needed.
I am really quite intrigued to ride the new coaster. I only went on my first Premier coaster(s) last summer and to be fair they were all pretty decent (Flight of Fear FTW!).
Plopsa can only do good for this park, and with one of the world's highest ranked coasters in their arsenal, this really could be a park to watch Really hope they have cleaned the Rapids up though, the water the last time I rode was disgusting!
Yeah nice artwork & concept, but the track is bright red and has light grey supports, hardly screams (no pun intended) scary dark theme. Nor does the hardware to be honest judging by the picture below:
