I know it's from Ride Rater however they're reporting that Mellors have acquired Lightwater Valley. I can imagine other sources will also confirm this soon if correct.
I wonder if we will start seeing a change in line up for next season?

It sounds very exciting hopefully turns out to be true, it sounds like it's going to be a great fit of owners for the park and hopefully they're going the right direction and new direction helps deliver new ride s and attractions for the park.I know it's from Ride Rater however they're reporting that Mellors have acquired Lightwater Valley. I'm half imagining it'll be quite a few (both family and thrill) flats from the fair circuit, dodgems, waltzer, a spinning wild mouse and a Reverchon flume and/or rapids initially.Be interesting to see if they bring back any of the rides they were previously shipped off to places like the Middle East which they still own to populate the park with some new for 2026 attractions.
I'd also imagine some of the older rides will end up being removed (possibly gradually), some of the Modern Products children's rides comes to mind where some of those may be coming to the end of their service life.
It'll be interesting which rides come in for 2026. I'd also be ironic if the rapids that's at Fantasy Island came back to the same spot as it used to be in.

I can see multiple new family/thrill rides next season if I’m being honest. The rapids would be a good move again as it was always popular when at LWV. I hope they take out the likes of Spin Bug etc as it looks out of place on Eagles Claws old site.

Speaking of Eagle's Claw, it could be a good ride to bring back in the unlikely scenario, the park have it stored.I can see multiple new family/thrill rides next season if I’m being honest. It depends on if the park have sold or scrapped it.

They definitely built up a very good collection of rides for their Saudi events. Not sure if they are all still out there, or if some are back in their Nottingham yard?Be interesting to see if they bring back any of the rides they were previously shipped off to places like the Middle East which they still own to populate the park with some new for 2026 attractions.
