On another note why are they only using 3/4 rows? That would explain why the queues for it have been long recentlyThey were working when it re-opened in June, so they must have broken again

Think the lifting hook or something is broken on one of themOn another note why are they only using 3/4 rows? That would explain why the queues for it have been long recently

As expected, festoon lighting has been installed in Sub Terra's queue line.

It would have made more sense to add the red spot lights that are also in the Nemesis queue line.

Eurgh. I’m all for new lighting, but copying and pasting festoon lighting across the park feels cheap and lazy. This isn't Rollercoaster Tycoon. Get themed lighting in areas!
I’ve no real issues with it to be honest. Serves a purpose.

It's been out for a few months now, and is Indeed waiting for a part.Ride was great fun last week, did it twice and had a great experience! I noticed one of the towers was out of use, (tower 3 I think) anybody know how long it’s been out of order? I suppose it’s probably waiting for a part!

Yikes. Last thing I heard was the lifting hook was broken and they were waiting for a replacement. Not a part as such, the tower foundations have been damaged and the whole thing is tilted slightly to one side. Not a quick fix at all and the roof might need to come off … closed season job for sure

christ, how did that happen I wonder, where did you hear this from? Hopefully this gets fixed over the closed season then! Good they're still running it with the 3 towers in the meantime. It was from someone involved in operations who I trust, it wasn’t told to me in confidence or anything but don’t want anyone getting in trouble eitherchrist, how did that happen I wonder, where did you hear this from? Pretty sure it was the reason it was down earlier in the year

Presumably they're also still not fully loading the remaining rows?
If so, that means at most 24 seats are being filled every cycle, barely over half of the theoretical capacity. When you also consider the increased loading times brought on by the highly restrictive restraints, that'll make for truly woeful throughput.

Correct, the end seats aren't being filled. There were rumours of individual restraints being fitted this coming close season, but not sure if that's actually happening.Presumably they're also still not fully loading the remaining rows?

Yup, around 8 riders in each. Restraint issues haven’t seemed so bad compared to how it used to be. Hopefully if that rumour is true, individual restraints would really help the attraction’s longevityPresumably they're also still not fully loading the remaining rows?

Did this for the first time on Friday (didn’t visit the years it was originally open and first visit in 2 years!). Thought it was great fun and much better than expected, the 2nd lift was unexpected too and gave my friend a good scare. Glad they got this thing open again! As someone who didn’t experience it the first time it opened, you’d never know it was nearly 12 years old.
Has it always only done 1 drop? I think it would really benefit from a 2nd drop.
They need to sort the restraints out though, did the ride twice and both times the staff had to jump on the restraints to get them down.

It’s always done one drop, you would have a bit of a wait at the top to do two drops as the lift mechanism has to reset back to the bottom.

Ahh that’s a shame! The little judders it does back up the top tease you into thinking it’s going to drop again (reminds me of X/The Walking Dead on the stop/start section) so it’s a bit anticlimactic when it doesn’t drop. It’s always done one drop, you would have a bit of a wait at the top to do two drops as the lift mechanism has to reset back to the bottom.
