Paultons Park: General Discussion

The busiest day for Drakon (and Valgaurd in general) will be its opening day. I'm guessing it'll have waits of up to 45/60 mins at points on May 16th, maybe more.

To reach the popularity of those sorts of parks (or indeed even to really compete with the likes of Alton Towers) it would require them to significantly shift their business model.

Paultons are aimed squarely at the family market, they are not really a park where you would likely find a group of adults going for the day (coaster/theme park enthusiasts aside). This is why all the conversation around Paultons getting 'too busy' and their current rides not being high capacity enough is a little redundant. Unless I'm missing something, Paultons Park have never expressed an interest in expanding their demographic beyond families - or certainly none of their additions have demonstrated an interest in a wider market.

They just seem to be aiming to be a really good family park, where families can go for a good day out (and at some point a short break) and have a fun day, as a family.

Yeah they're not competing with them anything soon.

The amount of investment and development that would require is far beyond their current plans. But they don't need to hit those levels, and there are plenty of other parks that are perfectly attainable levels to what Paultons could become.

Might as well ask Paultons to become Canada's Wonderland or Kings Island whilst you're at it.
