I read somewhere the issue with the name 'Raptor' was because they did not want to be sued by Merlin for having the same name as 'Raptor' at Gardaland in Italy.
Whilst I don't believe this is true, if it is, then this is really pathetic from Merlin.
What next, are they going to sue Bethesda for them calling the 4th Elder Scrolls game Oblivion? It's funny because the most famous coaster named Raptor is the one at Cedar Point, which opened in 1994, 17 years before Gardaland's version.
