Where’s the deal for 2 days?

The only package they offer is 399EUR for one night, two days in the park, dinner, breakfast and 2xF.L.Y. passes per person (although you can add additional nights if needed) - their wording on the website is not the clearest, but you get a day in the park for every calendar day you are present in the hotel (e.g. if you book the night of the 5th then you get the 5th and 6th in the park, etc.)

Edit: I could have worded that better ... You get park tickets for your hotel check-in day, hotel check-out day and every intermediate day.

They’ve done that for years in the afternoon in summer.

They are majorly rebuilding the boundary between Klugheim and Mexico it is still a work in progress.

Talocan is down until at least Wintertraum supposedly

People will laugh at this but Merlin are one of the biggest theme park companies in the world and can't manage to create a single area that matches anywhere in Phantasialand in any of their parks, let alone an entire park of the same quality

Intamin launches sometimes seem to be noisy, plus the concrete will make it echo. Toutatis is similar but slightly quieter.

I did Taron last autumn and then both Red Force and Taiga this year and it was nice to compare them and they all make that same great sound but Taron's has a bit more oomph to it. Of course the area around it's launch track and it's trench lends itself to the acoustics but I seem to remember reading on a forum somewhere, possibly CF, someone suggesting that it's sound was deliberately amplified and others stating no, that wasn't the case. Like I say I can't remember the exact debate but I'm sure that I read that theory somewhere a few years back that the sound the launch makes was somehow "enhanced".

Given the issues Phantasialand have with the locals, and all the sound barriers they have to put up, I can't see them deliberately amplifying the launch sound.

It's such an iconic sound though

You have to admire how much more polished the content is that comes out of the top-league European parks like PL, Efteling and EP.

Guess if you've got it, flaunt it!
