They did object to wipeout so they had to remove the crazy mouse then re apply for wipeout and it was grantedI can't see the council objecting, considering Wipeout is taller and already there.

That's what has happened. Us locals gave up on the park , will be interesting to see what rides they bring onto the park yet it could well be a revolving door of rides moving forwardMoving cannonball? That would be so strange. I feel like it would fall apart and disintegrate, it’s so old. It still rode well last time I rode it 3 years ago - it just needed an extra train as the throughput was dire.
I would absolutely love a reason to go back and support the park - I just couldn’t after the state it was in 3 years ago - I preferred remembering it in its glory days!

Cannonball is in a sorry sorry state, as I said I expect this will be SBNO for 2026 , that ride and indeed the whole park needs some serious money spent and work, wont all be done this closed season or next
Have to sign up to read it. The article from the sun newspaper does allow you to read it.
Oh I agreeI am willing to wait - I would much rather that than read of its permanent closure and turn it into housing. As long as they keep woody bear!!
They do it all the time - stripping out the location in the headline so it gets clicks.Have to sign up to read it. The article from the sun newspaper does allow you to read it.
Clearly a slow news day for a national to pick up a local story
And they do add permanent ridea from time to time. Pleasurewood Hills needs another Dark RideThey could operate it similar to Fantasy Island with rides coming and going but the park does need some new permanent attractions.
A couple of solid flats supported by a couple more non permanent rides would be good. Build the park up over time, it's going to take money and graft to get the park back to where it should be. Hopefully locals will give it another chance
It actually used to run 4 trains.Maybe refurbish Cannonball Express over 2026 come back with new paint and theming get its 2nd train back
I think it arrived with 5... cant totally remember... i remember the blue track laying in the car park early 95 getting painted brownIt actually used to run 4 trains.
The takeaway quote for me from that article was this:I don't think anyone's posted this link before. On the BBC's page about the sale they've got a short audio clip from an interview with one of the new owners. Whilst you can't always take these things at face value, he certainly comes across well.

Pleasurewood Hills theme park will thrive again, says new owner
Freddy Stokes, of Premier Attractions, says he knows how important the theme park is to locals.www.bbc.co.uk
To be honest that's quite reasonable for new owners. The takeaway quote for me from that article was this:
Mr Stokes said Premier Attractions would be investing in new rides, but warned not to expect "a £4m rollercoaster".
So I guess a few travelling rides or maybe a used wacky worm it is then.
OK, so three million coaster confirmed then. The takeaway quote for me from that article was this:

I wonder if they will look for a second hand ride or two as well as the expected travelling rides. The takeaway quote for me from that article was this:
