Pleasurewood Hills reopened on Saturday, Reliability was mostly good. Although the Fireball and Jolly Rodger Drop tower were both out of action for Maintence. Most staff members wearing masks, reliability was good with Cannonball opening about a hour late and one small down time in the afternoon. Social distancing is in force on all rides, I noted the coasters were leaving a row between groups. Markers in the queue lines, and staff cleaning restraints and other high touch surfaces on a regular basis. The Water Fun Factory log flume building is looking good and the new entrance provides a nicer welcome to the park.

Good on Pleasurewood. Looking forward to getting back there. They do seem to have a good thing going at the moment, ensuring that the park is looking smart - adding some charm as they go. I was almost certain we'd never see Cannonball run again - great effort there.
That said, it feels like you need both the charm and the attractions - it's not either or, it's both. Will be interesting to see how things evolve on that front too.

Has anyone visited this year? Was contemplating it but the overnight prices at local places were vastly overpriced
You could try the local b+b's on marine parade Lowestoft or check air b+b there are some nice places nearby.
Just checked the Travelodge virtually at Pleasurewoods gates and the price for one night say next Friday is insane. As always book early with the lodges and inn's.
Use greatdays21 on line for £5 off.
I live in spitting distance to the park - potential visit planned for the chills event ( subject to weather and whats on )

Cross post from the Looping Group topic
Pleasurewood Hills have invested in food outlets this year with 3 new food outlets opening.
Amigos which is serving Mexican food with burritos, churros and loaded fries on offer, this is located next to the Carousel, it was pit stop food last season but rarely open.
The other two are the galley and Tasty Treasures which will be serving hot dogs, fries and sweat treats, these will be located between Moby Dick and the entrance.
These are in addition to Roosters by the Egg-spress and Smokey Joe's on the corner of Main Street.
From previous experience, Smokey Joe's used to be incredibly busy at peak times with wait time to order in excess of 30 minutes before another 20-30 minute wait to collect the food.
With these new outlets hopefully the demand will be spread across the park a bit more evenly and make people's visits much more pleasurable.
