Pleasurewood Hills

Not quite sure I agree with this to be honest.

It's true you don't need to be member of a forum / cred counter level to go, but just to attend one in the first place there has to be some general interest surely? Otherwise why are you wasting your time and money? I think all people who make the effort to go to a Merlin Park / Disney / Universal park must have some slight interest in rides and attractions on some level.
Maybe they just want a fun day out? You don't need to have an activity as a hobby-level to enjoy doing it. Many people enjoy going to the cinema, theatre, ten pin bowling, etc and most of those wouldn't count it as a hobby either. I watch Marvel movies but definitely do not count myself as part of that fandom or see it as a hobby. Many people just see an amusement park as a part of their holiday (beach on Monday, Pleasure Beach Tuesday, Tower Wednesday etc). Of course some parks like Alton Towers are more of an independent day out rather than part of a holiday break, but a lot of people just see it as a "trip to Alton Towers" not "my hobby is riding rollercoasters".

Families do theme parks...for the kids.
Non thoosies tend to grow out of these things in their twenties usually, then go back to them if/when kids come along.
Otherwise, parks are not really for grown adults.
More geese and squirrels.

My kids love theme parks, and we try and go whenever we can Pleasurewood is well located for people visiting the region they just need to give people a.more compelling reason to go.

I do thing the UK holiday park industry and the air BnB crew got far too greedy in lockdown and raised prices too high. Places like Flambards felt the effect when families were priced out. I think some of these destinations need a reality check. Theme parks are not always masters of Thier own destiny
