Re: Quick Questions 2013
There's no ERT past 18th (4pms never get ERT anyway).TurboJ said:So I'm going on November 6th. Will I get ERT?
Everywhere says they don't do it during Scarefest and Fireworks, and the 6th is neither. However I found one source claiming it wasn't available past October 18th...

Re: Quick Questions 2013
Towers have tweeted me back in response to Extreme Sanctuary tickets saying they are available from 10am at the box office.
Will they be on sale before this if the gates are opened earlier?
How many Extreme tickets are actually available each day and what times are they for?

That's literally the first I've heard of this, but it sounds like something I'm very interested in - any more information available? Is it available every night, do freedom pass holders get a discount on it, and how early will I need to book?jmc said:Towers have tweeted me back in response to Extreme Sanctuary tickets saying they are available from 10am at the box office.

Quick Questions 2013
I've bought the tickets this morning, we had to sign a disclaimer and theres one 'extreme' run at the end of every night for each maze. They are allowed to touch you and pick you up etc. tickets are £14 for each maze & very very limited.

Re: Quick Questions 2013

It's possible. I've posted a question on Towers' Facebook wall about it, and I'm hoping to get a response at some point. Funnily enough, I'm also planning to be on park on Monday!Alastair said:Supposed to be heading to the park on Monday...anyone think there might be a chance of it closing due to the high winds/heavy rain/storm?

Let's hope they do inform everyone if there is a chance of closure then! I'm frankly not holding out hope though from previous experience.

I'm also due to go on Monday for my partner's birthday so I have forked out for Platinum Fasttracks - if the park is closed will they be made valid for another day?

You should be able to get them re-validated for another day along with your tickets if you go to Guest Services on Towers Street.

Yeah it currently looks like Towers won't be experiencing the worst of the weather - which will mainly be further South. Where I am in the east is forecasted 40mph winds for example and the further south you go the stronger it gets...

Quite high gusts though, which are what cause ride closures pretty much.

There is a Amber weather warning for Staffordshire on monday. Although the part of Staffordshire that AT is in has a Yellow warning, and is being warned of 21mph winds gusting to 70mph.
Look at http://www.metoffice.gov.uk/public/weather/warnings for more information on the weather warning.

Re: Quick Questions 2013
Last night I experienced a Rita e-stop. Now this might have happened to me before in the que, but I was unaware if it did. (Not sure how common it is.)
This time I was on the train, and the operator explained over the tannoy something like "the ride has had to be e-stopped because someone in row 8 had their mobile phone out so the ride will be down for at least 25 minutes, guests are recommended to try another attraction"
Now I understand why it was e-stopped, but maybe someone could enlighten me as to why it takes at least 25mins to reset? I had to wait for stealth to 'shut down' and 're-start' for summer nights this year and that was done in less than 10 mins.
Also the guy could not ride, understandably, but personally I think he should have been ejected from the park. There would have been close to 1000 people in that que. Not to mention the strain it put on the staff.
