I've been told Crowe is not returning by many enthusiasts. No idea on the validity.

I don't think molly Crowe was that good the first time around, let alone again.

Hmmmm scaffold

Hmmmm scaffold
Very similar set up to last year when that was the scaffold bridge linking The Towers and the shipping containers for Sub Species. I guess it is too early to say but it does look more likely that Sub Species will remain, and with ToTT already confirmed I think we're looking at either a 4th new maze or Molly Crowe leaving the line-up this year, the latter seems to be more plausible.

Hmmmm by 4pm today the scaffold has been taken down. Maybe they changed their minds about the maze this year

I can't see them being allowed to start building until everything's confirmed surely?
If theyre seriously putting it all back up though now it wasn't even worth taking it all down if it's Sub Species again!
Surely it would have been cheaper to leave the containers there and theme them instead for the few months... even cover them with foliage would have cheaper and easier than all the effort and man hours pulling it down just so it's not there for 4 or 5 months at the start of the season?

Wouldn't they need planning permission though if it was a permanent structure? Given how close it is to the towers, there may be a chance It wouldn't be allowed. Please correct me if I'm wrong with this though.I can't see them being allowed to start building until everything's confirmed surely?

I think if the containers were perm they would need permission, that's what thrope have done with Containment, which was there last Frightnights, was removed and has now returned permanently.
I don't think they would get permission either as its so close to the towers and would block the views of the towers.

Oh good lord, lets hope Towers don't read that, they will never open the Towers again!

Again, absolutely no idea on the validity, but I will feed back from rumours. I have heard from more than one group/persons that we will have four mazes this year. Terror of the towers, a toned down sub species (without containers), a maze with the tagline "beauty is only skin deep" (teaser from scarecon), and a fourth maze.

A toned down Sub-Species would be extremely disappointing. I wouldn't be surprised to see them scrap the alternate endings and just have the one route out but surely they won't scrap the containers totally?

Alien finale gone, containers will be back and rest of maze should be as intense as before - unless of course the new creative manager wants to add little touches of beauty to the plans.

Apparently they had loads of complaints about sub species being too scary, with many people not completing the maze once inside. The containers are deemed an eyesore by all accounts and English Heritage may block them from erecting them once more.
