- Sorry, what was I thinking? "Not remotely surprising."
I don't have a lot to add that hasn't already been said by all of us over the last year or so, so I'll just make this plea to our lovely team:
I propose that anyone who openly admits to having personally paid to stay in one of these should be slapped with a perminant label next to their user name on the forum, shaming them forevermore, there for all to see, on every post they make.
I'm willing to excuse anyone who somehow blags it for free. In fact, if they can do that, they should get some kind of reward!
Who's with me?

We don't want to encourage people to do it just for an online tag next to their name. We all know some would stoop that low.To be honest, shouldn’t there be a reward for just surviving a night in one of these pods, wether paid or not?![]()
Just been clearing out my home made self built shed...time to store the firewood for the winter.
But, keep it empty, space for four in the blighter easily by Merlin standards.
Nice York stone flagged yard, outside toilet, cold tap in the crapper.
Barbeques permitted, fire pit, hops and real pears as a canopy above the shed door.
Plug tray in the bog with four sockets.
Half a dozen sets of fairy lights out there, and I will allow a share of the fibre optic broadband.
...and, you can even sit on my Winning Post off the Grand National and take souvenir photos.
All within thirty minutes of the Beach.
And I would still feel like I was ripping people off if I charged more than a tenner a night.

"Free" bed linen? As if this is a perk that you don't get in EVERY hotel in the world - where bed linen is included in the price. (Or is it yours free to take home? Doubt it)
Then you have to pay (probably double the retail purchase price) to hire towels - so that's how they keep the shower block queues down.

Are there any photos from inside yet?One of the pods is open for guests to climb into today. Anyone over 6ft will struggle in the double bed in the back.

My single bed halls room is bigger than that (and my room is not big).
