Strange Rides

It's really old and, unsurprisingly, prone to mechanical difficulties that meant all four axis rarely worked at the same time. Of course, I didn't know that, I had to find it out from this Facebook Page: https://www.facebook.com/ActuForaine/photos/?tab=album&album_id=151800448311750

The same page has some pictures that I'll put in a spoiler tag for the commoners still on dial-up:

Cheers buddy! Doesn't surprise me that it would be a tech nightmare, but I'm surprised it's that old. I assumed it would be some brand new concept! Shame it's not about any more, I'd have liked to give it a try.

The swinging coaster from a few pages ago has appeared on the fair circuit:

Looks pretty cool, although I wonder how much force the swinging is putting on the joints as there seems to be a stop before the maximum swing height. Mind you, I'm sure they pay a lot of money to people that know far more engineering than I do!

I know, right? :D No idea who made it, but I'm going to take a stab in the dark and say Mondial. ;)

So it is, cheers!

.... Hmmm, you know what would make this even better? If the cars were free-spinning on the roll axis, with the ability to lock / unlock them like on a KMG Inversion.

For those of you who think the chewing gum tunnel at Portaventura is gross, you may want to skip this one.
Seems there's a ghost train in the states where you are actively encouraged to add your gum to the walls! o_O Even more bizarre, somehow this has a page on RCDB??

Apologies for the TPR vid. It's actually the less annoying of the two I could find.
