Strange Roller Coasters

If you're about to ride that thing, a spelling mistake is the east of your worries! :p

I'm more concerned by the allegation that this coaster reaches a speed of 150km per hour, or 93.2 miles per hour, on a track that's 95 metres long, in a BUS. This park quietly boasts the 7th fastest coaster in the world. Makes 13's marketing look restrained and refined.

Well it is called the "Flying Bus"! Maybe it gets launched off the end? :p

I don't think that flying bus coaster is that strange really, it's just a giant butterfly.

Pretty much the definition of 'abandoned fairground in a horror movie'

It's like a badly designed RCT3 coaster

I guess that's pretty much standard of most Asian parks though...

Sounds like the dream destination for the majority of the forum...

And for the Flying Bus coaster, all I can think about is how much the designer smoked when he designed it. And named it.

10 cars to a train!

Bitch please! 20 cars to a train makes for a REAL coaster...

Noticed the tape on those back cars? Greeeaaaaaat..... :p

Videoooo....

Viktor Vandorm

And yes, that is indeed a man leaning out the front with a massive camera! :p

That was the Viktor Vandorm at BonBon-Land.

:)

Got to love the sound as the train departs the station. "This is a District Line train to...WTF Street."

Hahaha 30 and 40 car trains. Those at the front would already be halfway around the track before the back car released from the lift chain ;)

40 cars?! It must be the only ride in the world to achieve 1400pph on a single train! It's like the Omnimover of coastes! Just one big loop of vehicles :p

Chaos (the 40 car coaster lol!) seems to be similar to Black Hole, only, dare I say it... better.

Anyway from my brief reading, it's held in the same fondness as Black Hole. Here are a couple more links and pictures, far from being "strange", it seems it was a classic!

This site here has more pictures: Clicky - The odd background noise on this website is apparently the mechanical whir lol! Sound familiar?

Haha! 30 and 40 car trains? That's insane! :p I must make it my mission to find an even longer train, but I don't think anyone would go past 40, tbh (but then again, I didn't expect anyone to go past 20 :p )!

Anyone want a Togo Ultratwister named 'Megaton'?

Am I the only one that thinks naming a ride in Japan after "a unit of explosive power chiefly used for nuclear weapons" is a bit odd?

That is an utterly vile contraption. It looks even more uncomfortable than the Arrow pipeline prototype! The sounds it makes on the first set of brakes are unnerving as well - sounds like some parts just fell off from the force of the braking :p
