The I Feel Happy Topic!

Scarefest on the weekend, going with a really great group of people. Really looking forward to it. Plus I have a week off work to recover.

My mum's birthday (Was on Wednesday) went well for me, I was expecting to feel down all day but had a brilliant time at Star City in Brum. And now today going out for lunch then seeing Skyfall. and I'm now not 21 anymore :D Life begins fully I guess?

Oh, and I'm getting my provisional, finally! Very happy for me :D

After 8 speedy weeks of panicking and worrying whilst spending all my spare weekday time in class aiming for completion, I've finally finished and handed in all my work for this term! It's knackered me but it's 100% worth it :)

Posting here because I have something to say.

I really loved last night's chat session, it was helpful, interesting and hilarious which made it a great chat session. However I feel happy because I thought it was great to chat to some TST members that I don't talk to often, Which I felt was great and it put me in a positive mood last night.

Cheers guys! This website has such a awesome community :)

When I went to Towers on Friday, 3 awesome things happened,

1. My first time in scare mazes (see my reviews in the review topic :p)
2.My first time on Enterprise and the first time I've worked up enough courage for Oblivion.
3. After simply asking at Box Office they gave me one of their official CoS posters for free!
:)

Had quite a good day at work today, despite spending a lot of it with someone who seems to despise me (but everyone else was particularly friendly today :) ), and spending the last couple of hours in a role which I'm really not too fond of (but it was much less stressful than normal :) ). Also, as I left, my TL thanked me for the day and shook my hand. Bizarre how something so small and in some ways insignificant can make you leave work buzzing and feeling happy :).

Oh, and the other reason today was good was that I received a contract extension, so instead of finishing this Monday, I'm now contracted through to 8th March, by which time I fully hope to have another extension through to this time next year :D

New ice rink open in Uttoxeter :D

I plan on re-igniting my old skating hobby :) First trip will be Thursday, I think :D

After a particularly bad day, I met with my doctor as a matter of urgency and arranged a meeting with the crisis team at the hospital nearby. It seems like I might finally be taken seriously with regards to my health, here's hoping.

I'm going to Winter Wonderland in Hyde Park on My Birthday! Can't wait, I'm so excited! :D

Had my first day in my new role today, and although I arrived a couple of minutes late (damned traffic, I left around 35 minutes earlier than I normally would as well  ), went really well. Going to be doing some very interesting (if not mucky) stuff, with some excellent people, and getting the chance to see something I love from a new perspective. Happy Mark :D

Ahh, Winter Wonderland's great (if not exceedingly expensive...), enjoy! :)

Was speaking to my mum earlier on the phone. Recently, we've been having really long conversations, and have bonded quite a lot despite me moving to the other side of the country. Anyway, before I hung up she remembered about something that happened at her school (she's a teacher) that she thought I'd like.

She went on to tell me about this teaching specialist that came in, and had an iPad to show off these special teaching program's for kids. Turns out she had the same iPad cover as me. At this point, I was thinking "great story mum", but then it actually got better; without thinking, she told the woman that her daughter had the same case. Her daughter being me.

I know this probably seems like nothing, and is a stupid story, but this is the first time she's ever referred to me as her daughter, so it's a massive deal for me. It's really made my day :)

Say hello to the new hotel manager of the Cabot court hotel!! :D just got a promotion from a minimum wage bar associate to a salary wage, bonus & pension, completley skipping team leader, shift leader and shift manager roles...apparently it's only ever happened twice in Wetherspoons history! ;D
