The I Feel Happy Topic!

Finally submitted all documents and projects related to the largest module of this year which is a massive relief. I may have also packed for a little holiday to a place called Rust next week...

We have sold 13 books already. We have not really advertised it in too many places yet. Most of them are people we know who have said they will buy a copy. But I am happy with that a good solid start for the books. Nice to have a slow start rather than a mad rush.

Lets hope the sales continue.

I'm at Ben & Jerry's at Paris Gare du Nord station.

Watching the hustle and bustle as trains head off to Britain, Belgium, Holland and of course, Northern France.

Well, most of you know that I was told that I had a worrying lump in my neck, on Christmas Eve. Therefore Christmas and New year didn't really happen in our house. X-rays, multiple ultrasounds, two sets of biopsies etc and lots of trips to the hospital. In March it was decided that the lump had grown (it was now impacting on my voice and my ability to swallow) and had to be removed. I was admitted to hospital and one of my surgeons is the top cancer specialist in this area.
Three weeks later and my wound is healing well. I was told just after the operation that the lump had been sucessfully removed along with half of my thyroid. On Monday I went to see my consultant.......
The lump was not CANCER!!!!

As you can imagin, My family and friends are just as pleased as I am with the results, and thus I wanted to share it with you. Life can begin again!
Thank you for all of the cards, flowers and kind messages. I am a very happy Badger.
:p

I'm happy for two reasons.
1. We have our Badger back.
2. I'm home at last. (By which I mean EP.) :D

I've been given an unconditional offer for uni, which has taken a lot of stress off and today I had confirmation that I've been assigned a room in my first choice for halls.

:)

Channel crossings and Disney aside, Junket was fantastic. It was well worth it, and the behind-the-scenes tour at Tripsdrill was excellent, including walking around live ride areas.

Oh, and I've finally been given clearance to inform people of some fantastic news (for me, at least).

I'm going to be an uncle. :D

Is this Aberystwyth? If so, which halls did you choose?

Yeah it is, I've gone for Penglais Farm which is being built at the moment. It's near Llanbadarn and has ensuites, which sealed the choice for me.

Cool, although be prepared to take a lot of taxis on nights out - Llanbadarn is quite out of the way.

There was some abandoned cake mixture in the kitchen.

Not only do I feel happy, I feel 5 years old again :)
