I CAN CONFIRM THE TOILET BLOCK SUPPORT IS UP![]()

Ok excellent, thanks! Yeah I kind of recognised it - but hadn't seen such a high res version - at least we know what happens at that section! I doubt AT have progressed it much further from this point.

That toilet support is HUGE and it really makes me think that they should have just built new toilets elsewhere - however I guess it adds to the rides imposing nature.
I'm pleased that so much groundwork is being undertaken, even if it is more than expected and is the probable cause for the rides delay... Why? Because hopefully it will avoid a Saw style issue of unstable ground causing the rides quality to dip.

I'll admit, I didn't know what that actually was.

So you saw some of these on the TN live feed. They were pretty low res though as they were taken with my super zoom camera.
OK some Supports going in..
One min what the hell is that in the lower left corner. Lets zoom.
That's one hell of a gold ball.
OK the supports from a different angle.
Is that the top of the bowline you can see from the port cullis
more of that support piece

A great group of us stood and watched that (great!) monstrosity of a support being wedged into place over the toilet block.
Great pictures Stretchy, I didn't accurately see them with that kind of zoom!
The thing that got us all watching, was just how bizarre a position this was in, considering all the different elements of track it will clearly support, and given it is the opposite end to the bat cobra Staffordshire interlocking wing springroll, it gave a sense of just how insane this thing appears to be.
It is also no wonder it is hard to build this complicated... I did educate a guess, it is simply made out of odd supports and track they had left, and they just hope it all actually fits together somehow ;D
I still retain judgement of the ride, given I still hold my opinions on Gerst until proven otherwise, but my word this thing looks like it was designed by a resident OF The Sanctuary!!
EDIT:
Oh, and the artwork in the Towers Street main shop (whatever it's called) for The Smiler was just phenomenal. I reckon this will be a real head-scratcher wtf ride when finished.

What was the artwork in the TS main shop? Also, completely unrelated to anything, but I saw an ad for the smiler on the back of a crunchy nut cereal box today!! lol.

Ha-ha! On a Crunchy Nut box ;D
For the record it was the same as the image posted above by Matt, it doesn't really do justice to it's size or impact though, check it out if you get the chance. :twirly:

Picture from Towers2Go on Facebook.
I see lap bars in that image, which is strange considering they had OTSR on the promotional image...
Is it just me, or does the bottom of that seat look like it is pivoted? Looks like there's some kind of hinge that would allow the seats to recline or move forward. Perhaps that's the secret of the world's first?
