Rita no longer routinely gets over 1000/hour.Rita doesnt have a dire throughput though.
Over a thousand an hour routinely.
Two trains, short track, no lifthill.
Staff usually on the ball.
You done the Streak on the Beach?
Now there is an example of dire throughput.
Back on topic, anyone worked out how to re-route the cattlepen in the pit to keep the puntres two metres apart?
Edit...puntres, french punters?
Fitting. It's a pretty Marmite ride.Surprised Merlin haven't tried to jump on the Marmite hypnosis adverts to try and license the "Marmaliser" or even turn it into "The Marmite Smiler"
To be fair, most of those issues are sorted now. It's been pretty solid the last couple of years. As someone whose favourite ride in the park is Smiler, it's totally right to say that it's badly built, full of shoddy craftsmanship, makes odd noises and is wildly inconsistent in terms of comfort.
It's been a ride plagued by issues since the start.
Rita is small game by comparison.

Perhaps it is the quarantine getting to me, but the more I have listened to the entire audio suite, The Smiler soundtrack is probably the best in the resort...

you can draw alot of comparisons with the industrial sounds.
Holds the keys to a headache for me.Shockingly bad experience, enjoy it while you're young and you still have the headbanging tolerance. It has certainly got worse since it was built, however.
