I see it now, was hoping against hope for more track that we hadn't seen inside then

Brilliant video. The coaster certainly looks majestic and very aesthetically pleasing, especially with the dueling nature. Here's to hoping that it stays smooth for many years to come.

Joseph said:Do the effects on The Marmaliser actually do anything to you onride? :/ Like does The Tickler have leg ticklers? and does The Flasher work well?![]()
No leg-ticklers (thank god) and the flasher is not at all noticeable.

On all the pictures I've seen, there are no seatbelts on the restraints. Is that the case?
No there are no seat-belts on the restraints, Gerst don't add them to their restraints.
And Joseph the back of the seats have the graphics that have been seen when the trains where delivered

The Marmaliser is utterly pointless. You barely even notice it once you are on the ride. There is a slight splash from the Inoculator but that's it. But when moving at speed, you can't tell the difference between the Marm and the mess of track. I said they should have clad the legs rather than leave them as open truss.
Thankfully there are no kidney stabbers, calf slappers, or any other pain inducing devices built in to the train
The restraints do not have seat belts as they are not necessary (and would slow down the already dire throughput*) They are a bit thinner and more lightweight than standard Eurofighter OTSRs. Much more roomy. They hold you firmly by the lap without clamping your whole torso. They may not be the lap restraints we were all hoping for, but they are actually pretty good.
*Yesterday we all had the throughput app out, and the ride seemed to average 650-700pph. That's shocking. I hear there is fifth train coming soon, but even so, it's going to struggle to hit 1,000pph.

There is a 5th train that should be running soon. To be fair with one train not running and the fact staff hadn't been running the ride for more than a few hours when those calculations where made yesterday i think 700pph is reasonable. I reckon when the ride has the 5th train and the staff have got some experience behind them it will hit around 1100pph which is more than most coasters around the world. The only park i know to push throughputs above 1300pph is EP and sometimes Disney.

With five trains it should be a pretty impressive sight, as there should constantly be two trains zooming around the track.
I didn't think they were doing too badly at dispatch times yesterday. The three times I was in the station, they seemed to be going as fast as was practical. I don't think they can go much faster. It's not the staff's fault, it's the design of the ride itself.
I do wonder why they didn't have dual loading like Saw and Oblivion. That way they could dispatch a pair of trains together, hold the second one in a preshow (or even just a holding area in the station, like Oblivion), and ensure the timing of the dueling is always in sync. Currently the two trains are pretty much independant of each other, rather than timed to match. I'd have thought they would vary the speed of one of the lift chains to sync the two trains.
