Not quite; Chessington did open Rainforest in March, and Legoland also opened their DUPLO Dino Coaster in March, if we’re being pedantic. But that’s still a very large proportion of UK 2020 attractions delayed to 2021 now!

Like the rest of you, I would also like to say that this news does not surprise me at all.
 
It appears that ahead of reopening Thorpe Park have increased their online ticket price from £33 to £39.

This makes them the most expensive Merlin park in the UK for online booking.
 
Could we see Towers do something similar closer to 4th July? Or are they keeping their prices at 2019 levels?

I’ll be interested to see whether they opt for this price or the on the day rate when they open the reservation slots.

Alton Towers day tickets for 4th July onwards have been on sale for a while. £34 for adults and £28.50 for children.
 
Although standard passes almost immediately hit exclusion dates, and I believe any bought now will only last until the end of this season, with only those bought earlier in the year extending to midway through next season.

Strange time to put a price increase in, seeing as they're likely about to announce a number of attractions won't open this year.
 
Makes logical business sence. The park will easily hit the reduced capacity so why not charge the people entering more?

From a guest perspective their are 2 ways to look at it. 1) I'm paying more for a lesser experience which is bad or 2) I'm paying more but the park is supper quite so I might have a better day!
While most of us fall into group 1 you'd be surprised how many will quite happily pay for a more exclusive day out.

Usually the Thorpe Breaks is more reliable than the main website, but they are still selling tickets 3rd - 17th though and I’ve got tickets for 3rd & 10th.
