Don't forget the roaming Now TV salesmen!
For that added shopping centre escapism experience.
Don't forget the roaming Now TV salesmen!
Most theme parks have roaming mascots and characters.
Thorpe Park have a roaming Fastrack sales team.
Oh the magic.
Towers used to have roaming fastrack sales people years back, and towers always used to deny it on social media, even when there were photos of “sales and information” staff stood outside the flume selling Fastrack tickets Luckily management saw the light and decided it wasn’t actually great. I remember once seeing the fastrack queue for RMT out the entrance due to these people stood there selling fastrack.
Both are things merlin would actually do...Maybe it’s being used for Fright Nights? Or there’s a pop up oktoberfest SAW themed food stall coming
Someone's stolen the police car. What’s disappeared? I’m trying to visualise Saw’s area in my head, but I can’t seem to think of what’s missing?
The American police car. What’s disappeared? I’m trying to visualise Saw’s area in my head, but I can’t seem to think of what’s missing?
I could see them using protests as a reason so they can get PR pointsMost likely to do with the BLM protests and the current attitudes towards the police in the states.
They could also be making way for a NowTV stand, who knows...
Well yes that's logic but it's merlin? The most logical reason generally ain't it.I don't think they would ever advertise removing the police car to earn 'clout', they're probably just wisely aware it's a bit of a toxic prop in a park that welcomes a large proportion of POC and young, social media savvy guests.
Or, it's going to be replaced by a Now TV stand.
Thing is the police car actually fit in really well!Scrap the car but the entire ride is about murder and violence, if it makes them feel better I guess
Thorpe has way too many scrapyard vehicles used as cheapo theming anyway
Probably, although it reminds me of a funny thing at start of this season when the Egyptian characters disappeared from Blackpool's River Caves. Someone tweeting pictures saying "I hope they return soon", then when told they were removed because they supposedly depicted slaves changed to "Great to see them removed!"I think people are overthinking it, it’s probably been condemned.
