Sorry for double posting, but I’ve booked to visit Thorpe Park this Sunday coming, the 11th July. However, something I never thought of at the time, seeing as I’m not much of a football fan, was that it is apparently the final of the Euros on the day I visit. So my question is; do you guys think this will have any impact on crowd levels, or will the park be any different to usual? I know the match apparently isn’t until the evening, but I wondered whether lots of football fans might be inclined to stay at home and prepare for the match (e.g. match parties etc.), or alternatively whether the park might be busier, with people wanting to celebrate England reaching the final by visiting Thorpe?
My dad’s already said to me we’re coming home at any time of the day if staying any later means he has any chance of missing the match, so I’m hoping for a potentially quieter park, but I don’t know if I’m going to get it…
It's an 8pm kick off so i expect crowd levels not to be affected by the football.
