Towers Loving Care

This is disgusting… it breaks my heart when I see this. Twirling Toadstool has so many memories for me and to see it like this. It looks like it’s just the fibreglass that’s really in disrepair though. I can only hope it will return one day. #SaveTheToadstall

Well. It started as annual maintenance. Then it was changed to being removed due to it reaching the end of its life.

Maybe they tried to maintain it but couldn’t?

Such a shame that:

A) such a ride is allowed to get into this state in the first place. I mean can it actually be that difficult to maintain what is essentially a standard wave swinger?

B) that once again M£rlin have been telling lies about the rides 'maintenance' for so long. If a ride is gone then admit it. This kind of thing actually undermine's the effort that go into the TLC project's.

It's scrap on the floor yet it's still being advertised as an attraction (that is currently closed) on the website.

It should be taken off the website as it's misleading.

I fully agree, unless a ride is temporary out of action and they are planning to have it up and running for part of the season, then it should be completely removed from the website line up. Very misleading.

To have a ride that is not available advertised on their ride line up as currently closed for more than a full season (in the case of NST and Twirling toadstool this has been more than 2) is completely unacceptable

So if it not available for that season, even if they plan to have it returned to the line up in the future, it should be removed from the current line up on the website.

If it is coming back, it was never coming back as Toadstool anyway, surely?

I can't get on board with the website outrage. It clearly states its closed if you're planning a trip to the park. Refurbishment isn't about facades when you're working on a wave swinger older than most of the people on this forum.

The trouble with having things on the website that are not actually open, it gives the false impression that the ride will be opening at some point during the season. Even if if states that it's closed, who actually reads all the information? You are drawn towards the pictures. It gives the false impression that there is more rides at the park than there actually is.

What I find ironic, is that the rides like the twirling toadstool are not even SBNO, they have physically been taken down. As @Rick say's if it dose make a return, it will be completely re-branded as a new ride anyway.
