Entrance have been fitted with some new shutters. Well at least for us ERT guest ;) I should imagine the other side will be get some as well

That'll be good for the saps that turn up on days when they've decided not to open the park at all. At least they'll have some nice looking shutters to appease their valued customers.

Or for when guests turn up at 10am expecting the park to open and they have to stand and wait for half an hour. :)
 
As long as towers open the ticket booths at 10. Then the 30 mins can be used productivity :D
 
Another update, It also looks like they pressure washed the block paving at the front, I hope they do all the paths to blend in

It does seem odd with 7 weeks left to go there's been no update regarding Nemmy station or track being finished. Just that bit of inside station repaint
 
I imagine if they are continuing with the Nemesis track repaint it will be one of the last updates they do. The 'grand finale' of the TLC closed season updates if you like.

Good to see Mutiny Bay receiving some TLC, should look nice and clean with the new coaster in 2018.
 
As long as the facade next to it is made brighter it'll look great. If not it'll clash badly, but as it's part of towers trading I expect (hope) they will refurb it

I know Towers Trading occupies all of the buildings on this side, but this must have also been a standalone shop at one point many years ago. You can see there was a dooryway there at some point at the windows have been boarded up. Doesn't look very good IMO, although the paintwork is nice.

Would be a lot nicer is if they could put a door there and dress the windows to make it look like a shop, even if its never open. Like what Universal did with the a lot of the fake shops in Hogsmeade.
 
They still have the Nemesis track being repainted as the cover photo of the TLC Facebook page, so fingers crossed they are doing it....

Anyway, Towers has always been a world class park to me (well, up until recently), but visiting new places really does change opinions with this current era. I've just got back from my first visits to Efteling and Phantasialand, and one thing that trip has taught me is just how much I despise Merlin.
