Warner Bros Australia - New Mack - DC Rivals HyperCoaster

It's been a little while since we last had an update. The big airtime hill is now up and work has started on the first drop:

Ugh, it looks so slow..... ;)

That happened rather quickly though, can't wait to see a POV once it is up and running!

:)

That music is awesome, I hope it's going to be used somewhere on the ride.

I do think we could end up with something like this at Europa. There's certainly room for another big coaster with inversions.

Good news - after 4 days of testing the coaster is running 6 seconds faster, and you can really tell in this video:

Bad news - there are brackets on the first drop for trim brakes.

:)

Come on now @Rob - you're approaching whiny enthusiast territory. Even when it concerns a Mack ride

No POV yet however this did soft open over the weekend!

A look at the back row, which is backwards:

First Mack like this to have belts on the restraints? Altough in true Mack efficiency it souds like they unlock automatically at the end of the ride!

A really good review of the coaster can be read here on CoasterForce.

Sounds very good indeed. Reports that it does have a rattle that some of these other Macks do have (Aplina Blitz and to a lesser extent Helix), although it is not something that has really bothered me on either of those coasters.

More of these please!

:)

Why can’t us Brits have coasters like this? Thorpe Park, take note.
