Welcome to TowersStreet.com!

That'll teach me to notice that 'talk' had been added to the site name...

Regardless, I wish you all the best of luck in building this site from the ground up and I cannot wait to see what's in store :)

Wow! I read the news on ttf about 11pm and felt bit empty... 4am and the new place is looking very homely already!
Well done guys. I been a follower on ttf for several years and decided its time I became bit more vocal!

Looking forward to seeing the new site grow and evolve. Keep it coming!!

Great to see you on board, love the name :p. Things are looking a little....plain but I'm sure you'll agree Joel has done a fantastic job getting things up and running in a matter of hours. We've got big plans for this place, but it's not going to be overnight. I think what we've achieved so far shows its not going to be quicker than some may expect though!

I think what you have done in the short space of time is amazing.

As for the name ;D I thought a name that only a true towers fan would pickup on was a good way to go!
5 visits in one week I think qualifys me a a true fan lol.

Has appropriately named twitter and fb pages been secured yet?!

Seriously guys what you have achieved overnight is amazing! :)

With you guys at the helm I think, we as a community are on to an absolute gem of a site! I probably speak for a lot of us when I say THANKYOU :-D

^^ What he said .... you lot have always been "held back" but now - let it FLOOWWWWWW.
Nice one peeps, love it already :D

Wow what a 24 hours...

This must have been a very difficult time for all team members who made the initial decision, but I must thank them for all the time and effort they put into TT and now at their new home.

Wishing you guys the best of luck

I seriously love you guys. A forum is made by the people in it and you lot are amazing. TTF made 10 years, heres to 10 years (and more) of TST.

Well we are on a completely different server now remember :p

However, also remember that at present we have a fraction of the content that TT has, so I'm sure we'll be able to clog this one up and bring it down to usual speed for you all ;)

My tubes will remain clear and fast thank you! ;-)

But yeah on a more serious note, TT was on a horribly slow and old server. We're not. :)

Great to see how adult and well you all handled the situation which is more than can be said for others. I'm 100% behind you all. You made the community the greatness it is today and long may it live on your new platform. I wish you the very best on this new venture and know that with all you collective talent that this will become a shining beacon of the Alton towers community. Thankyou for the warm welcome and all the best for the future.

Wow. I sure picked an interesting moment to come back.

I followed and participated (albeit it not a great deal) in TTF for a number of years, back in the days when Kaycee posted in pink and AstroDan dominated the post count board :p. However, a good few years back after a disagreement with a individual member (I can't even remember who it was now!) I left. I vowed that it would be by last ever view of TTF and up until yesterday I stood firm upon that promise.

During that time I became a member of another (very large and very active) forum. That forum is truly global and intensely moderated. Although I was far from becoming a member of the team, it has truly given me a insight into how difficult and time intensive it is to run and moderate a community such as this. I have great respect for members of team and fully support their decision, as the background behind it seep out, both on here and on what remains of TT.

It's a very hard job starting a new website and community and I'm sure the entire team knows that. But already there have been great strides in the development of this site, in a very short period of time. It is a testament to the entire teams dedication that this has been possible and long may it continue.

Anyway, I'm going to go and crawl back into my hole now. ;D
