Once upon a time I used to play with toys, but now I'd rather play around with teenage boys, so if I get a hickey please don't have a cow...

Yup, still on German Metalcore....

Finally round to watching Elbow's iTunes festival set. Lucky buggers got Puncture Repair and Some Riot.

Can't wait for December 1st. Seeing them for the second time this year! :D

Haha, Blaze, my friend is also seeing Elbow on the 1st of December. I can't remember where but he offered me a ticket and I was gutted because I have a previous engagement on that particular evening. Do enjoy them! I've always wanted to see them live. What numbers do they do?

Mostly it's just stuff from the last two albums, with a couple from Leaders, and if you're lucky from Asleep In The Back. They haven't played anything off Cast Of Thousands for a long time.

They normally do around 15-17 songs. The setlist last time I saw them was High Ideals, The Bones of You, Station Approach, Lippy Kids, Leaders of the Free World, Grounds for Divorce, The Loneliness of a Tower Crane Driver, The Night Will Always Win, Starlings, Mirrorball, Weather to Fly, Open Arms, Scattered Black and Whites, The Birds, One Day Like This.

Bonus points if you can spot the deliberate mistake!

Delta Goodrem - A Year Ago Today

My reasoning? Two years ago today, my grandmother unexpectedly died two days after my elder brother's wedding. She seemed fine that weekend, but when she left our house on the Sunday morning, I never saw her alive again. :(

Uhhm I'm listening to random 8tracks mixes and the current song is called Nothing Here by Holy Other. It's sort of triphop, ambient, post-apocalypse type of weirdness. I've not heard it before but I quite like it. The entire track list theme is Post Nuclear Drop/Fallout. T'is very ace.

Love this song, reminds me of the Jolly Boys Outing episode of Only Fools And Horses :)
