It took much debating and jostling to settle on if Troy should sit just above or just beneath Wodan, but I suspect that re riding Wodan later this year (providing it's open) will secure its place above Troy.

A few changes to mine;
#1 - Gringotts - wasn't open yet on my last visit, but is just stunning, the perfect attraction. I guess the term 'coaster' is a bit loose however, but it gets top spot on a technicality.
#2 - Manta (Orlando) - Every time, without fail, that pretzel loop is my favourite element of any coaster, ever. The rest of the ride isn't too shabby either.
#3 - Kumba - Just old skool B&M at its finest, quality AND quantity.
#4 - Nemesis - after over 100 rides, still just awesome.
#5 - Montu - Not forceful enough to beat Nemmy, but a great invert all the same.
#6 - Kraken - Not as highly rated by others but for me it just 'works' - the speed, the height, the inversions - I do love the floorless aspect too, especially at the front.
#7 - Sheikra - I love oblivion more, however this just gives you more - I fully expect Griffon would surpass this, alas, that's still on my wish-list.
#8 - The Smiler - was reluctant to include this, but I actually love it, the length is great, and it's 100% FUN.
#9 - Dragon Challenge (Fire) - Didn't make my top 10 before, but this time round something changed (reasons unknown) - actually really like the layout - much more forceful than I remember too. Can't really fathom why or how Ice is not as good, it just isn't. Ice would be about 13th, probably.
#10 - Struggled with this, - best of the rest really, I'm going for Stealth though - a big punch for a relatively slow accelerator - (I haven't been on KK or TTD.)
Normally Hulk would be sitting pretty at #6-7 but it's rough as heck now - thank god they are refurbishing it to be honest. You can see and hear the vibrations; IOA maintenance team should be embarrassed, frankly.

I get where you are coming from and somewhat agree, I doubt that it will stay 'up there' in terms of top10, but I don't think we can deny universal created something very special on a whole new level... It was certainly better than I expected and I was expecting a lot after FJ in 2011. The trick track works well, that first drop is sort of thrilling, the 'launch' through the mist in the dragon scene is, again sort of thrilling although as you say, very, very little actual coasting. The theming, my god. I'm not even a HP fan.

It is most definitely a great trip too, although Magic Mountain pretty much contains all of the state's memorable thrill rides. The sheer quantity and quality of coasters spread around the parks on the East coast is ridiculous.

Not nearly as well travelled as some of you, and I have unusual tastes, but...
1) Oziris, Parc Asterix
2) Nemesis, Alton Towers
3) Alpina Blitz, Nigloland*
4) The Ultimate, Lightwater Valley
5) Mindbender, Galaxyland (West Edmonton Mall)
6) Helix, Liseberg*
7) Troy, Toverland
8) Shambhala, Portaventura**
9) Leviathan, Canada's Wonderland**
10) Wodan, Europa Park.
* These two may end up swapping places if I get to reride Helix now it has on board audio.
** Very close call between the two. Shambles just wins due to it's clifftop location, while Leviathan looses points for having the final brake run 100 feet in the air when it could have done so much more.

Recently did about 13 parks on the East Coast and in the Midwest so my top 10 has pretty much changed entirely. My previous #1 S:ROS at SFNE has dropped out of my top 10 completely as Six Flags have managed to ruin it completely with the new restraints, and awful speaker system.
1. Skyrush (Insane airtime to throughout, you feel like you are about to fly out on this thing).
2. Fury 325
3. Goliath (SFGAM)
4. X2
5. The Voyage
6. Maverick
7. Wicked Cyclone
8. Nemesis
9. The Beast (If I was judging this solely on night rides, this thing would be no.1, it's absolutely insane flying through the dark on this thing).
10. Leviathan
I've not really done any parks in mainland Europe bar Tivoli Gardens, so I'd be interested in seeing how the best of Europe (such as EGF, Goliath (WW), Helix and Balder) holds up in comparison.
