So as you've all seen me and wildboy have created a 1:10scale model (wildboy built the train and myself built the track)

For a thank you gift from wildboy he's kindly printed out a complete kit of parts for the oblivions car (ye this this an epic model with a heck of alot of very intricate parts!!!)

As it's a kit of parts I can have a play around with a bit of artistic licence!!! (Don't worry it'll be the original item when finished including decals etc...)

Unlike the nemesis model this will be a 100% working model when finished with rubber tires and aluminium wheels and a track that's longer than 700mm lol

So without further ado photos!!!

Surely it’s be unrideable going backwards l?
Good work though looking forward to seeing this progress

Hi all I need a bit of technical information on the lift hill chain mechanism (I really hope there's an operative in here😁)
I just need some info on how the train grabs the links
Is it like a rack and pinion system with the teeth of the rack being the chain and a fixed pinion on the bottom of the car?

This video explains chain lift hills really well.

That's very informative but it's the wrong chain (super cools to see John back when he was younger tho lol) it's the grab chain that pulls you around the curve that's puzzling me^^
