Doesn’t seem to be any mention in the article as to the source of that info, so I’d really take it with a pinch of salt.

There are articles all over the place claiming that “THIS is the government’s lockdown-easing strategy”, and they all contradict each other.

Better to ignore them all and wait until Sunday for the actual strategy.

Interesting, so no word yet on amusement parks or when I'm allowed to just hop on the train for a non essential trip

It's a bit depressing how the UK death toll goes over 30,000 and the media are only interested in telling people the lockdown is going to end, despite the scale or speed of the easing not being made public yet. After looking at the sensationalist headlines I've seen, I'm sure a lot will suddenly think it's back to normal on Monday.

I think a lot of people thought the lockdown was over after the first three weeks. Or when Boris left hospital. Or maybe they thought the rules didn't apply to them at all.

Can't help but feel all of these headlines and reports going in to a bank holiday weekend is only going to mean one thing - more people than ever out and about as the lockdown is "nearly over".

It also appears that there is going to be a split in the approach taken in England as opposed to Scotland and Wales. And that is only going to confuse matters further!

They are also on about different restrictions in different areas. Take Devon for example where I live. We only have a handful of people in hospital and our infection rate is the lowest in the country so we could be open some businesses etc.

But then what's to stop people coming down from London, Bristol etc to shop or visit. Can't see how that would work!

Seems all political games, the other week we were told Scotland were going to ease restrictions and “go against Westminster” and now that England are apparently going to ease things Scotland and Labour are complaining it’s the wrong time to do it.

The constant nagging pressure of the media to lift restrictions will be just as responsible for the spike in deaths as the gov for their struggle sourcing last minute PPE and leaving private care homes to fend for themselves. 30,000 relatives have died. 30,000 family members have died. 30,000 parents, brothers, sisters, grandparents, friends & loved ones. There's still around 600 people dying every day. How can the media be so irresponsible speculating on announcements that are yet to be made. Giving people premature hope. Encouraging people to leave their homes and socialise. Ruining peoples mental health.

Well i have a mask ready to go.
However it only filters on the way in and expels my breath without filtering

If Raab carries on using the phase road map, i am sure he will hold up a Phillips road map of covid19 lockdown.

I wouldn't exactly describe lockdown as good for mental health....

No there isn’t, not even close. These are registered deaths and most were weeks ago.

What we are basically doing is still crashing the economy to protect old and sick people, the same people who mostly from my experience are breaking the bloody lockdown themselves.
It’s time to end this free holiday on the government now, hopefully Boris will give his head a shake and see some sense.

are people still reading and believing the MSN

and regards the Law, today is 21days since the last review of lockdown, by law they have to review and yet we hear nothing.

Gov expect us to abide by the law but they

Technically we did hear from them.
No changes.
That's them having reviewed it
Well, barely. I'd be interested to know the logic in shifting the 'big announcement' from today, when it should rightfully have been (end of the last extension), to Sunday. If there is any truth in some restrictions being softened slightly from Monday, doesn't give any time for businesses etc. to prepare.

Catch 22. The lockdown is terrible for mental health. The media's portrayal of the lockdown, lifting of the lockdown, coronavirus etc. is bad for mental health

Either way we have it uncertainty is what I think is causing issues for many people and not just autistics who struggle with it anyway.
