End of Days: Predictions & Prophecies about the End of the World, a book written in 2008 by a self-proclaimed psychic known as Sylvia Browne. The exact quote from the book says:

As I said, there's a 99.99999999999999 (continue with many more 9's)% chance that it means absolutely nothing, but it is quite scary how it predicted the pandemic in the first place!
Having read into it a bit further, there are also many other predictions made in that book that were proven to be false, so I think it's just a scary coincidence than anything to go by!

I think face coverings will become recommended in most public settings soon. Note, face coverings rather than masks, and recommended not mandated, although maybe some places will make it a requirement to entry.
In terms of figures, it's depressing to see that the UK has the second largest number of deaths worldwide and the highest in Europe. It's hard to call the government's approach a success.
It's always easy to see errors in hindsight but I think when this is over there will be an investigation to see where the UK went wrong. Too late to lock down due to Cumming's herd immunity plan, not enough testing and tracing, and not considering how to adequately protect care and nursing homes are all failings.

11th May will be a big day for park reopenings, as North Rhine-Westphalia, the German state containing Phantasialand and Movie Park Germany, has now announced that theme parks can open from 11th May and hotels from 21st May, with social distancing in place! Following this news, Movie Park Germany has updated its website with an 11th May opening date; I'm not currently sure about Phantasialand.
I think this is tremendous news! Phantasialand doesn't normally open until April anyway, as far as I'm aware, so if they open on Monday, they will have missed less than a month of the season!

How much income do these parks get from international customers. It must be a fair amount.

Or they know they need to practice at a smaller scale so plan to eat the costs as training costs.

I don't think these parks actually would get much foreign custom besides enthusiasts; I think they are most definitely regional parks, so 99% of their money probably comes from Germans.

Power cuts, nope no high winds or boy racers crashing into power line poles.
Broadband is a bit of issue. Due to a well know parcel delivery company vehicle reversing into the local openreach street furniture.

Not at all. Both parks quite heavily rely on the Dutch and Belgian markets. They are not that far from the borders after all. However with the limited numbers I'm sure its not that much a concern, come the summer most likely more travelling will be allowed, but at first for them to test how limited safe openings can work I'm sure the German audience will be enough.
