Looks downright awful today. Anything worth riding is 70+ up to Smiler on 150. Park must be loving staycationers

Wicker Man being down all day won’t be helping. Plus Enterprise is still closed - think it’s been a week now.

Why moderate? Kids will be at school and it is a weekday. Surely it will be really quiet? I'm going the week before on the 17th and tried to pick the quietest day possible.
You're thinking too much into this. If you're after walk on rides all day, you won't find that anymore for the rest of the season. The park will feel busier than a normal September so technically everyone is right in saying the park won't be really quiet in the way it has been between 2016 - 20. Those days may never return and for the sake of the future prospects of the park I hope they never will.

However, the days you have chosen are still some of the quietest in 2021 terms. You won't walk on everything all day, but follow the advise of what many of us have already said on here and you'll still achieve every ride you want to get done, maybe even multiple times for some depending on opening hours. Ignore what it's like at the moment, it won't be anything like that when you visit. Turn up early, have a plan and you'll be fine.

Yikes, both Rita and Thirteen are closed currently and as a result, Roller Disco is on 40 mins! :tearsofjoy:

Enterprise (no surprise there) and Wicker Man are also closed as well.

Roller Disco has been getting 40 minutes+ even with both Rita and Thirteen operating. I do wonder why Wicker Man has been down all day, this must be the fourth or so downtime period in the past year, which doesn't seem normal for a simple GCI woodie? Maybe it is, I don't know. Duel is also at 25 minutes which proves how packed it must be.

I think it's amazing what a turn around the smiler has had for reliability. Over the years it's not been particularly reliable but thr past year or so it's rarely had any downtime
Yeah I hadn't thought of that. It does seem to be fairly reliable these days. I wonder how long it'll last with that Gerstlauer unpredictably.

You know what, come to think of it, you're right. I never thought I'd see the day that the Smiler would be one of Towers more reliable coasters.

It probably doesn't help that Enterprise, CRR and Wicker Man are all seemingly closed for the day. 3 rides down all day is a massive blow on other queue times.

I'm quite surprised given the fact the park is always so busy at the end of summer, that we've not yet seen any extensions beyond 7pm in the past week.

Maybe the budget was all used up.

In terms of the "stupid" comment, you've got to think that some families could be willing to wait that long for The Blade as it may be the most exciting ride that certain younger ones can go on because of height requirements. Waiting 60 minutes for The Blade could be that person's equivalent of someone else waiting 60 minutes for Nemesis; etc. I wouldn't say it's stupid at all. I wouldn't do it, but that's because there are more exciting rides than The Blade for my age and height.

I think the idea that a flat ride such as Blade has a 60 minute wait is stupid in itself, rather than anybody waiting for it.
