Walibi Belgium: General Discussion

Yes please, this needs to happen! Loup-Garou is crying out for an RMC conversion.

It would give Walibi Belgium another top-tier thrill coaster to go alongside their very solid line-up of family and family thrill coasters.

Loup Garou, Vampire... they both need to meet their makers. RMC have teased new style restraints, so an RMC'd Loup Garou would place it infinite leagues above Untamed for rider comfort.

Well you can't argue with the length, can you? Doesn't look very exciting on a screen, but no doubt it's perfectly good fun in person.

Hey guy's we are considering a trip to walibi belgium and doing plopsa the next day can anyone recommend somewhere to stay please

I’ve done this before and stayed in Brussels near the Midi/Zuid station. Got the Eurostar out and spent 3 nights in the Ibis - used public transport to get to and from each park which was easy enough as both have stations practically next door to them.

I visited the park last Thursday (24th), and was pleasantly surprised! It was genuinely one of the nicest laid back days I've had in a park, despite it chucking it down for the first half of the day.

Mecalodon is a treat and very re rideable. It's a nice blend of family and thrill, really smooth and really nicely themed. minus the generative AI 'art' plastered all over in the queue.

You could tell that the park was very well cared for- no litter, minimal graffiti (most of which I saw in Kondaa's queue), and in general very nicely presented. Lots of nice landscaping and efficient ride ops. It was evident at the front of the park where things were a little older that they weren't as themed, but there were still scraps such as Vampire's queue.

Loup-Garou honestly I reckon could get away with a re track and new trains, it jack hammers and is bad but it's not RMC it bad- I will never say no to more RMCs though!

The pathway and bridge from the train station (Bierges-Walibi) does need some work, it's very rickety and uneven.

I'm looking forward to see where they'll be at in coming years!

How was the park in adverse weather? Were the coasters all operating? I was thinking of Walibi as our back up if Phantasialand doesn't work out for October but was hesitant due to most of the rides being outdoors.
