It really looks like bluefire trains!

Mack have said on Facebook that it will start testing soon! Hopefully we get some nice videos! ;D

It looks like the two trains are going to be different colours, as here is a photo of a red train:

Did someone say testing?

Photo from TPR, not sure on on original source.

Also, a poor quality testing video from a distance can be seen here.

:)

'No' I told myself, no. Sam, no. Don't do this to yourself. Don't let yourself hope that this will be anything more than a slightly disappointing tame family version of the Mega-Lite.

I didn't let myself believe that this might happen. But this looks like it could be as good, if not better, than the Mega-Lite. Almost certainly Mack's greatest coaster to date. Wow.

It's certainly got megalite written all over it, but with better trains and you would assume a more reliable operations.

I don't subscribe to the MACK fanboy newsletter as I felt outside the family market they are quite inexperienced but this puts them in the thrill league. Will be exciting to see what comes next (one of these would suit Blackpool or Drayton... I can but hope).

This looks tasty, very tasty! Can't wait to ride it!! ;D

Please, could a park...any park in the UK see sense and install one of these; whether it be the Mega-Lite or this Mack version. Just anything dedicated to airtime.

Looks like a joy :)

Apparently it vibrates but as we're all used to The Smiler it'll probably be a walk in the park!

:)

Helix called, it'd like to remind you that it exists...

It certainly looks like it'll be at the same range of Mega-Lite, which mostly fulfils the fun to ride but really, really over-rated for some reason by enthusiasts...

It doesn't look quite as fast or airtime filled as the Intamin version, but it looks pretty good!

Based purely on that POV, I'd say it looks "OK". But with any luck it will ride well in a couple of weeks time. ;)

The reviews I have read so far basically suggest that it's not *quite* as intense as a Mega-Lite, the first 1/3 in particular not being as good. However, the latter 1/3 seems to be just as good.

Either way, looks like a good ride!

:)

Yeah that's what I've seen also. I think that's pretty good going really, Intamin are the market leaders when it comes to ejector airtime so for Mack to out-do them with their first attempt would have been quite something. I'm sure it's going to be great fun to ride!

:)

It's actually fantastic...

Like, better than Piraten fantastic... A real gem of a ride for what is actually a real gem of a park that people need to visit more...

Airtime (both floater and ejector), decent positive Gs, smooth as glass, silent, and only costing (ride system itself) €4.5 million... I have a lot of love for this ride, even if it won't ever break my top 10, it might well do for others...

2014 is the year of the Mack...

How much airtime?!

You can hear the anti-rollbacks/lift dogs slamming against the ride car chassis everytime it goes over a hill.
