Walibi Belgium have confirmed that they have suffered extensive damage from the floods. The park will be closed for the next couple of months and they are hoping to be able to re-open for their Halloween event in October.
Devestating for the park, especially in the year that their most exciting ever investment opens.

Walibi Belgium are set to get a new coaster, probably in 2025. This time around it will be a family triple launch coaster from Gerstlauer. Plans have been submitted to the local authority:

As far as I can tell the music on Psyké Underground, which I agree is rather good, hasn’t played on the ride in some time. I rode it in 2020 and 2022 and it only played in the queue line both times.

I suppose they are a bit limited with what they can do with it, I guess they wouldn’t get permission to put another coaster there with it being so close to peoples houses. I imagine it probably also acts as a bit of a sound barrier for the rest of the theme park.
I disagree, I actually think Psyké Underground is great. I think its a great example of taking a basic rollercoaster modal and making it something special with themeing. The fact its fully enclosed and has a great lighting and sound package just makes it really great compared to what it would be as just a standard. I'd love to see more similar things where parks take a simply, cheap off the shelf ride and take it to the next level with theming. The other example would be Speed of Sound but I really enjoy Psyké Underground just because of its uniqueness in the way its presented

Totally agree with this, Psyke Underground is a really fun ride. There’s no much to it but by enclosing it in a dark tunnel it makes for a very memorable experience, especially the first time you ride it. When you go through the loop, appear to hang there, and then roll backwards through it again all in the pitch black it’s quite a trippy moment. I wish there were more dark coasters out there!

I have to say when I rode it about 7 years I was pretty disappointed. The dispatch video was cool, but overall I found it a bit of a non-event.
Perhaps the biggest letdown was the fact the soundtrack was barely audible in the station and actually on the ride (if at all). That felt like a real missed opportunity, especially given the track is so good!
Speed of Sound wipes the floor with it in my opinion if you’re talking about elevating a basic coaster.

When I visited a couple of months back I used the single rider queue on Kondaa, Tiki Waka, and Dalton Terror.
The single rider queue for Kondaa was brilliant, I was getting off of the ride and then exiting queue and being back on it again within five minutes. The only problem was though that towards the end of the day a bunch of people in groups started using the single rider and making the line a longer wait when it probably would have been quicker for them getting on by using the main queue.

Pulsar also had a single rider line last year, but wasn’t great as they were only running one boat so throughputs were slow.

I don’t normally buy fast track style passes at other parks, but Walibi Belgium’s Speedy Pass is such good value that I figured it’d be rude not to. Last year we basically got unlimited rides on everything except Kondaa for only about 45 euros.
