I just have to echo the cringeworthy BS of the Thrill Laboratory. I surprised he doesn't have a 'vomitometer' made out of an old henry hoover and a toaster with a pressure gauge stuck to it with gaffer tape.
 
Can some one please tell me if all the LED lights in the tunnel on the TV advert are inside the tunnel at the start of the ride. Before the first lift hill.

Nice! Where is this on the ride? You can see loads of track inside and whats looks like car wash rollers.......

I'm sorry. I do love the Smiler, but that's just naffness incarnate.
 
The stairs actually link in with the ride quite well when you think about it. Take the song 'Over the Rainbow':

Whether this be intentional like 'The Teddy Bear's Picnic' being used on Th13teen or just coincidence. I think it's quite a nice link!
 
Very interesting! I imagine in five years time we'll see posts like 'Merlin need to spend money to repaint The Smiler's staircase'.

Is that the barrel roll to the very far right of the image or am I going blind?

How exactly does it look unfinished? I know that's not the best photo, but it is finished.

Also, I love rainbow stairs!! ;D

The image is taken looking out of the station towards the break run. The rainbow stairs lead to the exit.

I think this image was taken a while ago due to the lighting outside, so the station is definitely more completed than in the image.

I would guess based on the lighting and the fact barely any trains are visible that the photo was taken on the press night a couple of weeks ago. (EDIT: beaten by Andrew)

I like the rainbow stairs ever since they had them on the game.

fair enough, the way the picture was shot wasnt the best, now i know where you are looking from/ towards i retract my statemetn
