Ride times looking very cheeky at the moment

I remember when I went with my school there was a 120 min wait for Nemesis and someone took a poop in the queue!

Its heartwarming to see these busy times (mostly because im not there)

This is why they should ban school trips and send the kids on a one way journey down the mines without shoes like back in my bla blah...

This is why they should clean the extension near the station! Also I'd love to have a walk up there for a cool view of the pit :p

There's other extensions up near the top of the lift that are in a far more useable condition!

The park looks like hell today but compare it to the same days over the last couple of years and it is pleasing to see. Things at last are picking up.

:)

Picking up... Nemmy has hit the 2 hour mark ! thats just OTT and shows that Towers need more filler rides open and just more rides full stop o_O

Clearly yes. Galactica and Enterprise being down is not helping, and the age restriction on the ever popular Rapids means it has a 0 minute queue. However it is significantly busier than any school trip day last year which is encouraging.

:)

If you have the Alton Towers app then sensors at the start and end of the queue lines for major rides will detect how long you have been in the queue for an update accordingly. In theory this does mean that the queue time being displayed is that for the person who is at the front of the queue, not for someone who is about to enter the queue.

Of course there are flaws in this. For example The Smiler has just jumped from 20 minutes to 120 minutes. So something was not working as it should have been!

:)

Or, being Schools week and for instance Nemesis has just gone from 2 hours to 30mins so probably Kyle Chavington saw his mates at the front and queue jumped to join them sending mixed data signals.

This week I was wishing my school was doing theme park trips, but I'm very glad I'm not there today! Looks terrible :)

Got on park at 10am today a d was greeted with a hour queue for Smiler from the off. We queued right up until the baggage hold and then Smiler went down. They evacuated the queue line through single riders door. No fastpass offered. So a bad start to the day.

Next in Mutiny Bay toilets my Fiancee had her finger shut in a cubicle door as she was coming out some little cretin pished the door on her back closed.

Off the First Aid and to Towers Trading to get Pin Badges only got corkscrew and Blackhole as others were out of stock. Got told the other were available online but couldn't get website to work. In the end a staff member got the mine train one and rapids one for is from out the back as they had been holding stock. They have now been out on general sale in Towers Trading. In short 3 hours on park no rides done (not really fused as we can use MAP anytime)

Coach park was full including the coach over flow which was also full so they were sanctioning the car park off for more coaches. I knew school week was busy but Damn also the language of some little cretin and also queue fighting was a shocker. Roll on September back to school and walk on rides.

Still pin badges are gotten so redeemed itself really (massive pin collector)
