Project V. Well the German word for bird is vogel. Also the ends of the V appear to be like wings. A bird's eye view based ride certainly seems to fit with the Soarin rumours.
Look forward to finding out more!
@Dar I guess the project logo/name/brand doesn't neccesarily have to reflect the final product, like the actual logo/name/brand of the ride will have to do.
Looking back at the first page of this thread the rumours were about a vampire themed ride. So that could be actually what the V stands for. Also there was talk about a Rathaus (town hall) in connection with the construction work in the German area.
So could this ride will be a German Town Hall taken over by Vampires who fly you on a trip over Europe??!!
They'll either have to have the new arena finished, a temporary marquee set up or reducde the capacity of the event. I'd say a temporary marquee is the most likely option so long as they have space for it.
A short article in the Badische Zeitung has revealed that:
- The building will have length of 40m and width of 20m
- The building will have a high point of 15m
- The building will contain two theatres, each able to accommodate 70 guests at one time
- The theatres will show 'short films' and be European first technology
Sorry to disapoint you, but the park opening ceremony really is nothing special! It mostly consist in a long speech from Roland, in german of course.
But sure you'll enjoy the empty park, and the very unique atmosphere of the opening weekend.
I don`t share Pedros opinion. I know many people who really do enjoy the ceremony....and I think if you like the park very much then waiting with so many other fans for finally entering the park again is great. I personally love it !
Besides: Every year there are several new things to discover. Being one of the first is also a nice touch. So yeah...english Europa Park fans as a part of the opening...I think that`s something great !
i'm there at the opening for many years now, and I can say that the ceremony is nothing special in my opinion. Even if I understand what is said, as I speak german, I don't really like it and I'm just impatient for the park to open after it.
But yes I love the atmosphere of the opening weekend, being back in the park after weeks, and looking for every single changes is always great fun. "Oh Look, a new sign!" "Let's go to the Geisterschloss, see what has changed inside there"
