But as every sensible business knows, you have to spend money to make money...

There may be fewer technical staff, or they may have shorter hours that prevents them getting all rides ready by 10am. If maintenance budgets have reduced, I'd expect (and hope) that the reductions are relatively small compared with the cuts to the operations team and retail/f&b.That doesn't make sense to me as they all open at some point so the staff must be there just not maybe right away.
What they have done is cut their hours most likely.
Again I hate harking back to Smiler incident but when you lose 600,000 through the gates over a year, you feel the pinch.
switch to grapefuits? This is my issue you can't keep cutting operations and offerings to improve profit. Yes visitor numbers went down circa 600000 after smiler but the park need to get them back in! !! Cuts ain't going to achieve that. Maybe they help improve profit margin but you can only squeeze so much juice and pips out of the orange until it runs out , then what?

No snow or ice, temperatures currently 6°C, wind only 11mph.I'd be surprised if the park is overly busy anyway, the weather there looks crap. Not quite as bad as opening weekend, but it isn't far off.
I think it shuts at 5pm tonight. Is it open to 6 tonight?

This is the current state of Wicker Man from Instagram:
There's also been images posted of the entrance plaza covered in ice, as well as Towers themselves confirming the ride closures due to the weather on Twitter.
