Chessington is generally a regional attraction. Historically, we rarely saw adverts for the park on the Midlands or North.

Great to see Alton advertising, was on ITV on Wednesday night!

I've not seen advertisements yet though rarely we seen major billboards for southern parks here though curiously Mingoland seems to get a bit of TV coverage up here compared to elsewhere.

With Emily Alton being now being here there and everywhere, it's something when you look back on that before when the HH first opened she was just a wee ghost figure in little doll's house, if you were to say to the late Keith Sparks that that little gag was to be part of a new storyline for the attraction in which the dolls house will now be part of the new storyline, who knows what he might have thought about all of it...funny how things turn out in the end.

According to this year's park map the Gloomy Woods outlets have now been renamed to Attic Antiquities (Spooks 'R' Us) and Coach House Confectionery (Nitrogenie)

Just watched it on the news, The Flume duck is in there! There's a pre show involving Emily and her parents but not one that stops the queue from moving. Couldn't see much else as it was a rider cam but there looked to be ample amount of special effects
