Makes logistical sense, entrance next to the car parks, about as logical as you can get.
But you would miss the view, other stuff needs putting in place, the monorail should batch entry, but it isn't going to change, and we have discussed this several times before recently.
Hotel guests/disabled entry if requested, everybody allowed out that way, makes best sense.

CBeebies celebration coming back for the summer. Not sure what it will involve vs the event just gone but it must have gone down well with guests.

The single biggest thing that would fix the entrance experience to the park is the monorail. Either allow people to wait on the station platform (like people do at train stations across the country) or install gates. Then ensure enough trains are running so one arrives as the other leaves during busy times.

I'm concerned about this ERT plan. It seems to be on only two rides, which have both had reliability issues at times this year, what happens when inevitably Tech Services can't get either one of them open for 9am? Grumpy and disgruntled hotel guests that feel they're not getting their money's worth.

Unsure why the other FV attractions (Galactica, NST) aren't included in the offering as well.

There is no info on that but it would seem reflectively easy to gate off the GW entrances until just before 10am if needed.

Looking at the details here this will be for hotel guests only during the summer holidays. One hour ERT on Nemesis and Curse. Good to see extra perks coming back for hotel guests.

The single asterisk point in the T&Cs is in relation to the kids swim free at the waterpark, not ERT.

ERT coming back is a fantastic idea. It's also a good idea to introduce a perk to increase the customer value of an onsite stay. I previously thought it was strange to offer it to pass holders as well, their bread and butter is surely hotel guests and non-passholding day guests? Aren't they more likely to be casual and occasional guests and therefore worth far more from a secondary spend perspective?

Some concerns however. Obviously they're struggling to get rides open for 10am now, let alone 9. The choice of attractions offered seem to be the newest and most marketable ones, and logistically they're quite close to the hotel entrance anyway, so that makes sense. But queues are short for Nemesis at the beginning of the day anyway, and are sometimes walk on at the end. Many days Alton Manor is 10 mins to walk on all day. If you were going by queue length to add customer value, you'd go for In the Night Garden, Octonaughts, Wickerman, and Smiler. That wouldn't make sense due to entering through Forbidden Valley, but wouldn't a lineup including Galactica for thrills and RMT for families make more sense? Smash those and then get in a queue early for one of the others before most day guests are in?

I mean either way if you get 2-3 rides on nemmy, get on curse and head over to dark forest for park opening and tick off thirteen and rita then you're off on a good start.

Yep but same with Galatica absolutely no point waiting around for that as I never see it open on time anymore, wickerman would have built up a decent queue by the time you get there likewise with smiler so at that point probably best trying your luck with dark forest, UK's leading theme park weirdly seem to struggle getting it up in the morning.

I would love for them to flatten the park entrance and place something Eftelingish in its place. Still keeping the corkscrews…I think it would be awesome! I feel the current set up is dated and a poor start to the day.

Will hit hard the day when Nemesis new track is at the entrance instead of corckscrew and all the current big 7 are gone
