7 rides on Big One, 5 Icon, 3 Avalanche, 2 Dipper and the rest of the park once. That's with an hour in Spoons for lunch.

Pretty dead. Still not sure it justifies the £35 entry fee but I know i'd rather go on a day like that than a rammed 10-10.

Night rides on Big One and Icon too.

£2 per ride just on the specific ones you mentioned (so probably nearer £1.50 per ride overall). And barely a queue in sight. I would say £35 represents excellent value for money.

Of course if several thousand people had turned up then it wouldn't have been quite so good.

But that's the thing isn't it. People think paying £35 for a cold winter day with the park only open for 6 hours and several rides shut, represents poor value for money. They may be right but that means you get an empty park and it becomes excellent value for money.

Good day at Pleasure Beach yesterday. A stark contrast to my experience there earlier in the season.

All rides walk on besides Icon (usually a two train wait due to it being run on one).

Shame we didn't spot you, it was my round!
Surely walk on night rides on Icon and the Big One were worth the money?
Two of our real men took on the back seat on the Big One in the freezing dark.
Fools.

Going this weekend which should be fun (but also cold). Staying in the big blue again finally after having to cancel December 2020, and February 2021.

This is a long shot but does anyone know a pub anywhere near the park that might show the F1 on the Sunday?

If you are in the park then the Grand Prix ride will be open, just watch that.

It's almost identical to formula one. Cars going round in circles with the car that starts in front, finishing in front. ;)

I think it's a Fabbri ride, providing a very odd sensation in which as the seat went into the wind, it started to tilt backwards in a way that felt a bit precarious. For £7.50, I am not sure I would recommend!
The ride is one of three Star Flyers built by Dutch showman Jean van-der Beek and this one is owned by Johannes Dauphin.

Still no sign of Nickland being ripped out though!
...And none of the staff had heard any such rumour.
Heartbreaking that Crevettes was closed, nothing worse than seeing a grown man cry, while throwing a tantrum and hammering on the shutters.

Excuse the poor quality CCTV footage from dipper

p.s. please tell me there's a Wilma behind the bar?

That's poor really. Massive case of CBA.

It's the last weekend, what does 2 more days of running the ride matter ?

Glad I went last weekend.
To be fair, we don't know the reason. Could be anything. :)

It's certainly not planned maintenance. Why would they plan to start winter ride maintenance when there are just two days left of the season?

It could be something unforeseen that they cannot fix by the weekend I suppose, but the most likely explanation is they cannot be arsed.
