Mandy's tweet is another example of why she really shouldn't be allowed on twitter !!
Even if she has no clue when Valhalla will open, as the company director you really shouldn't make public critical comments about your own park, even if it is meant to be a joke !!
It's a bit like when the owner of the former Ratner's Jewellers made this comment...
" People say, 'How can you sell this for such a low price?', I say, 'because it's total crap.' "
Killed off the company in one line.
Latest company accounts are due at the end of March, this will largely be for the 2021 season (the year of the staycation), so if they didn't make a profit in 2021 then there really is no hope.

The ninetieth birthday bash was good value and good fun.
Free fairy cakes and prosecco, and Mandy waiting on (very, very briefly).
One of my favourite nights on the Beach.
Edit...exactly the same stuff this time as last time!
Most of the other stuff was walk on, got told off for taking my pint on Infusion.

Wandered along the front with the dog before, the park was spookily quiet for the weekend before opening. Perhaps that extra month of preparation has meant that everything is ready and they can just chill ...
Most but not all of the scaffolding has been removed from the Big One, the painting on the Big Dipper looks great from the road.
The casino frontage has been redone, it's now a scrunched silver foil type appearance ...

I can maybe stomach £145, I am going to flip a coin (I don't understand why the price keeps changing).Season passes currently appear to be £145 (previously £189)

Does Amanda think Valhalla is one of her hot ice shows? “Technical Rehearsals” sounds very strange for saying they’ve had years to rehearse it already
do they expect paying guests to experience it and if it’s naff they can just blame the fact it’s a rehearsal…

I won't be going this season, but it's about time!
Anyone want to make a bet on it not opening on 7th April?

Dark rides such as Valhalla or The Curse at Alton Manor will need tweaking once running with guests, checking the lighting and effect timings and that sort of thing. Technical rehearsals is a fancy term for soft opening, Universal Studios used the same language for The Mummy when it reopened last September, that stayed on technical previews for months.

I think people will be talking about the ad but for this reason and not the ride! Can't believe they are still using shots from that dodgy promo poster
Too much of a coincidence that they've released this the same day as The Curse at Alton Manor??? Trying to steal Towers' thunder perhaps?!

How drastic do we reckon the internal changes could be?
Given the 3-year timeframe, I reckon we could be in for something quite special! I’m aware that some of the delays were caused by COVID and Brexit, but I’m led to believe that some of them were caused by issues with the technology being used, so I’m hopeful that we could be in for quite a good ride here!
On a side note, the park has confirmed that £4million has been invested into Valhalla. That’s more than I was expecting!
